Zaki is Izaac Enciso’s latest music/sound project. Zaki is an exploration through different types of music production, writing and vocal performance while mixing musical genres such as hip hop, rock, electronic music and reggae / dub. Zaki recounts stories about life in Los Angeles and his transition to life in Mexico. The album takes us in a journey through the years of making and how the artist moves from one state of mind to another, whilst touching issues such as: racism, capitalism and identity, health and spirituality.
It is a project where the artist has been expanding his sonic production capabilities taking them to the next level as well as using his untrained voice and the written word as a way of expression of feelings and the absurdity of modern life.
